About

I am a PhD student at the MIT Media Lab, in the Responsive Environments Group. Broadly, my research interests include ubiquitous computing, sensing, and medical devices.

I received M.S. in 2013 from the University of Washington Electrical Engineering department. I was advised by Joshua Smith in the Sensor Systems Lab. My research there focused on applications of RF-powered systems.

In the summer 2012, I did an internship at Microsoft Research, Cambridge, UK in Sensors and Devices group.

I received a B.S. degree in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland . After graduation I spent two years at the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Biomedical Imaging Bioengineering in Bethesda, where I worked on development of medical devices and clinical research with Dr. Alexander Gorbach.

I am supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship as of 2012.

I am from Akademgorodok. It is located 20 km from Novosibirsk, the largest city in Siberia.
